Program note

Processó evokes the idea of ritual: musical elements unfold across multiple temporalities, from an almost hypnotic regularity to a whirlwind evoking trance-like states. Yet in the observation of this procession, perception is also altered, temporally and spatially. The final impression is that of a kaleidoscopic observation of a deformation multiplied on several levels.

La seconde partie de cette soirée s'ouvre sur une création. Celle d'un jeune compositeur dont il faut absolument noter le nom. […] Une pulsation, comme obsessionnelle, fascine immédiatement. Le rythme soutient, accompagne un séduisant développement pointilliste de la couleur instrumentale. De subtils micro-événements viennent baliser la progression de cette œuvre attachante.
