Ipnosi is a work on the perception of the world around us and how we master it. It is, in a way, the tipping point between what we are conscious of and what remains in the unconscious. This duality inevitably passes through memory. The piece is almost entirely constructed from sound objects derived from earlier instrumental pieces ; the questions of reappropriation and meaning thus become crucial here.
