Un élan (A Momentum), in a tense form, where instrumental and electronic timbres blend into a single flow of energy, but also into a constant rhythmic tension, nourished by the idea of speed. Virtuosity of the ensemble and algorithmic precision challenge each other, accelerate, and chase one another in a race against time between machine and living performers. The work is thus written as a gesture out of balance, a movement launched without return, a shared trajectory between living bodies and calculating entity.
